I tend to prefer short term solutions and client focused therapy (using a variety of techniques – including humour) working to help you feel better faster as you can verify by some of the testimonials on this site. In essence, that means I want you to be able to make progress within a short space of time and you should notice improvements very soon after starting therapy. Some therapists will keep you digging up the past again and again. I prefer to find out with you what is going on, outline some of the reasons and to help you move into the future (which at least you can change). I have found that positive changes can happen in only a few sessions. I am compassionate, caring and supportive but also direct and challenging where needed.

For International clients appointments can be arranged via Skype, Zoom or WhatsApp.

A limited number of Counselling appointments for new clients will be available soon and evening counselling sessions may be possible to suit your needs. Email john@dublintherapycentre.ie or call 086 608 42 92 to book your appointment.
